A Hackney landmark pub owned and operated by The Five Points Brewing Company.

Located right on the busy five-way junction of Amhurst Road, Dalston Lane and Pembury Road where Hackney Central meets Hackney Downs, The Pembury Tavern has been part of the local community since 1856.

In 2018, The Pembury Tavern reopened under the stewardship of The Five Points Brewing Company, a local Hackney brewery that began its life in a Victorian railway arch just a stone’s throw away from the pub. The Pembury was the closest pub when The Five Points began brewing in 2013, so when the pub’s owner offered up the leasehold to the brewery’s founders Ed and Greg, they jumped at the chance to take over this historic pub.
